Easter 2022
(Pictures from Easter 2021 here.)
Ready to leave for the CSO, wearing our Theodore Thomas Society pins.
We heard a wonderful performance of "The Firebird" on Good Friday, along
with an impressive performance of Prokofiev's 2nd Piano Concerto--rainy
and cold downtown, but lovely before we left; a memorable, splendid concert.
Coach Izzy gave us Easter baskets, smiling bunnies with blue ears.
My Easter eggs. The one in the center was a gift made by my graduate school friend Ted Winter at the
University of Virginia (1972-76). It's a Ukranian Easter egg this year. I've had it for nearly half a century!
The large one at the left was given to me by a student named Andrew when I as teaching.
George made the Musetta egg for us in 1997.
Coach with his new grandson in the middle; to the right, Coach and I celebrate 2,500 rounds in the ring
George's pancakes on a bright, sunny morning
Outside, the hyacinths are coming along and the hosta are coming up.
The best forsythia in years

We have been enjoying ties from Coach Izzy!
