These pictures are from mid-August; the blooms never let up,
especially the very tall burgundy at the back of the picture above, left.
 
Morning glories added a beautiful blue to the generally heavy mix of dahlia colors.
 

 
Orange and pink were both good bloomers; the large "dinner plates" on the right
earned their name, many of them 8" across.
