Elizabeth drifts off stage and down the stairs. Wulfram (the splendid Roman Trekel) looks on. You can see that the set sort of replicates the concentric cirlce of the Song Hall, but the arches above and curving earth below don't convey much. The little red flowers everywhere bobbed incessantly as the cast walked around them; carnations, we think, or what?
